Dr. Mohsen Solhjoo,D.M.D., F.A.G.D.
Dr. Solhjoo received his D.M.D. degree from the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine in 1997. During his years of practice, Dr. Solhjoo has gained experience in adhesive dentistry, implant surgery, aesthetic dentistry, periodontics, and endodontics. His dedication to excellent quality care and continuing his education exemplifies his mission to provide the best possible care for his patients. Dr. Solhjoo is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Greater Waterbury Dental Society. His passion to further his education persisted when completed his F.A.G.D., Fellowship of the American Academy of General Dentistry in 2013. The award is presented to dentists who work to provide the highest quality of dental care by keeping up with new happenings in their profession.
He completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive exam, and fulfilled three years of continuous membership with the academy to keep up with current trends. “We are proud to honor Dr. Solhjoo for his commitment to the profession,” Academy of General Dentistry president Linda J. Edgar said, “He has distinguished himself professionally amongst his peers and is a role model for both fellow dentists and community members of Waterbury.”
In addition to spending time with his wife, 2 daughters, and granddaughter, Dr. Solhjoo also enjoys traveling, fishing, and playing golf.
Laurie Rotella, R.D.H.
Received a Dental Hygiene degree from the University of New Haven. Has helped meet our patient’s dental hygiene needs and give them the best care possible since 2001. Her favorite part of her job is making our patients feel happy and encouraging them to keep their smiles healthy. She is anesthesia trained and enjoys continuing education. When she is not at work, she loves spending time with her husband and two children. She enjoys reading, cooking, photography, and vacationing at the beach.
Allison Stanco, R.D.H.
Received a Dental Hygiene degree from Tunxis Community College in 1998. It has been a pleasure for her to help our patients with all aspects of their dental needs since 2008. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time camping with her husband, two daughters, and golden retriever.
Dana Cleary, R.D.H.
Received a Dental Hygiene degree from the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport. She has enjoyed being a Dental Hygienist in health needs since 2010. Our patients well being is her top priority. In her free time, she loves to run and travel with her sons to either a baseball game or visit New York City.
Jasmine Alvarez
Began working in the dental field in 2012 and with main experience in scheduling and insurance-related tasks. She is CPR, Medical Billing, and Coding certified, as well as a Certified Medical Assistant. Her goal as our receptionist is to facilitate your experience by assisting your needs in the best way that she can. She enjoys knowing that she has made someone's dental journey a pleasant one. When she is not at work, she loves spending time with her family. She enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, and who doesn't love a nice vacation?
